We travelled to Norway, the city of Oslo covered in snow and ice, man was it cold. We made our way to the hotel, everyone following behind me (I am the leader of the band after all, not to get cocky). I had already started joking about lighting a church on fire (church burning and black metal have a long history), but of course Mâku being all serious said no. Mâku was imprisoned for 16 months due to church arson, so he’s against the idea of it.
We took a tour of Oslo, all donned in our corpse paint. Visiting beautiful snowy landscapes and forests (album covers in the making). There we saw the impressive fully black stave church, which I still joked about burning, much to everyone’s dislike. It was just a joke come on. Seriously church burning is bad, but it was widely popular in the 90’s. Of course we came here to make music not to spread chaos (though that sounds really fun).
Awakened Sins will be performing in Norway for the first time tonight!
