Setting

Sonic: Out of this World begins its story in Sonic’s World, a planet which may not appear too different to ours at first glance, but is much more chaotic and unpredictable. Green, checkerboard patterned grass streteches onwards into large ‘loop-de-loops’, only to be conquered by the most daring of runners. Mechanical factories with traps galore populate the planet, all being plastered with a logo that could only belong to the nefarious Doctor Eggman. Even the world’s cities are far more whimiscal than our’s, it not being unusual for the road to suddenly flip upside down, or to see a blue hedgehog be chased by a giant military vehicle up the side of a building. But the location where this story mostly takes place is our world, Earth, which I’m sure needs no introduction. Sonic and his pals end up in the city of Melbourne, where, depending on the audience, they will either visit the cinemas, or eat at a restaurant. Sonic and his friend’s main goal is to find a way to return back to their home planet, so they can return to their regular lives.

Characters

• Sonic the Hedgehog: He’s a hedgehog that (hopefully) needs no introduction, Sonic the Hedgehog! He’s a blue hedgehog who can run at the speed of light, who lives life by his own rules. Sonic’s always on the move to foil the evil Dr Eggman’s plans, believing that everyone should have the right to have freedom!
• Tails ‘Miles’ Prower: Tails is Sonic’s reliable sidekick, who happens to be a fox. While he may not be as fast or strong as Sonic, he’s still a valuable assest to the team, assisting Sonic with his clever gadgets and higher thinking skills. In fact, he’s so intelligent, his IQ even rivals Eggman’s! He’s not as confident as Sonic, but Sonic pushes him to be the best he can possibly be!
• Knuckles the Echidna: Knuckles is a fierce echidna warrior, who’s strength remains unmatched. All his life, he has been tasked with defending a very powerful artifact named the ‘Master Emerald.’ He takes this role very seriously, so he’s eager to return to his home planet so he can fulfil his duties as soon as possible, and he won’t let Eggman get in the way of that!
• Doctor Eggman: Doctor Eggman is a mad genius hellbent on ruling the world, and finally getting rid of Sonic once and for all. He’s got a new scheme that he’s sure will take Sonic out of the equation for good: sending Sonic to another world! Sonic will have to think on his feet to get his

  

  way out of this one, but his friends are sure to help him out!

• Orbot and Cubot: Two goofy, somewhat unhelpful robot henchmen that Eggman keeps around for company, despite how much they get on his nerves. Orbot is intelligent yet sassy, while Cubot is friendly but dimwitted.
• Egg Pawn: Eggman’s most mass produced robot, they are weak yet expandable mechanical soldiers Eggman sends into battle.
